The transmission guy put my new transmission in today but my alignment is so bad that we may have to drill new holes in the liner. It may be next week before it is fixed.
There's a divinity that shapes our ends, Rough-hew them how we will
Looks to me like a long while since you've gutted and filletted a fish. For heavens sake cut along the boneline *away* from you (from either tail or head, it doesn't matter) or you risk putting a sizeable gash in your hand...!!!
It has been ages since I have filleted a fish. You on the other hand have had plenty of practice no doubt. Part of the problem was the knife in that I found myself sawing the fish instead of slicing with the knife. Anyway I plan to get lots more practice in!!!! Thanks for the tip.
Good video. It looks like there is supposed to be a "key" between the transmission shaft and coupler to transfer power. Looks like the key is missing. I don't think the power transfer should depend on friction of shaft to coupler with a locknut alone. the locknut is to keep the coupler on the shaft and the key is to transfer power. Hope this helps. I'll keep looking for a parts manual for your transmission online to confirm the setup. Good luck.
Well we finally got it all put back together and now it is better than new. Josh did a bang up job and i am a lot more confidant in the engine reliability now.
Ha ha! I loved Wrightsville beach because there is so much to do there. They were filming a movie at the marina, and there was a swimming race the day I left. Funny because I had hardly heard of Willmington before I got there.

DeleteNot a bad place to be 'stuck' in!
