Horn Harbor to Little Bay

I was going to write off another day from the north easterly wind but it died after lunch so I motored up to Little Bay in the afternoon. I passed the Wolf Trap Lighthouse on the way.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and it got it's name from the 1691 grounding of HMS Wolf, a British naval vessel. You can see it from a good distance and it is the strangest looking object that you can imagine. I had to get my binoculars out to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
I arrived here in Little Bay just at dusk and the sunset was unbelievable.
Tomorrow I hope to cash in on a southerly wind and head as far up the Chesapeake Bay as my sails will let me.
