TS Arthur

Tropical storm Arthur is rearing it's ugly head out off the Florida coast. Hopefully we will not get too much wind but to be safe I went out and bought some 3/4" three strand nylon tonight to beef up my dock lines.
By the way did I tell you that I am now living on the water and LOVING it!!!!!
This morning I had to move my boat, so I took the opportunity to do a little sailing. It was just with the staysail, but the main and genoa will have to wait until I get a bit braver.
And anchoring though I didn't like all the black gunk that came back up with the anchor.
I got to use my autopilot successfully.
And here is her new home.
I launched the dinghy which ended up being a right old pain because to lift her over the lifelines and into the water without sinking her was a bit of a stunt.
Going for a row in it was not much better either because it was so unstable. Overall, not a good experience.
And finally I did get the transducer working successfully for the fish finder.
And finally, this morning's sunrise was unbelievable.
